YR series motors are 3-phase asynchronous motors with a wound rotor for general uses. The grade of power and measurements for installment are in line with IEC international standard. Their mutual relations are similar to those of Model DIN42678 of West Germany.

The series motors can provide greater starting torque under smaller starting electric current and can adjust speed within certain scope, they are widely used in start moment which is larger than than for squirrel cage. The capacity of the electric wire netting that is not enough to start the squirrel cage rotor motor long and frequent start and in connecting the electric shaft to drive synchronously.
